Are You Hiding In The Background?

I was in the midst of assisting someone and the thought suddenly came to me, that whatever you do towards the least of them you do it to me and it was actually a verse that had came to my mind, it was Matthew 25:40.
At that point I was thinking to myself, what am I really doing for God right now? I felt as if I was no longer doing what was expected of me and what I wanted to be doing. But God is so faithful He is with us in our darkest moment and also in our happiest victories.
I thought to myself I had to be more 'present' I had to be more 'on the ball' but where was these feelings coming from? Could it be from a desire to be seen rather than being? Possibly! And this is why it's so important to remember where we're coming from, why we're doing certain things and who we're doing it for.
I have peace knowing that life and circumstances changes at every moment. Sometimes these changes is visible and there are times they are inward. There will be seasons in our lives when we can no longer do the things we used to do when we're in our twenties compares to our thirties. This is when life gets more serious and priorities change; it is indeed inevitable.
So dear friends if you're thinking that what you're doing isn't enough, isn't getting enough praise, isn't drawing enough attention. Don't be discouraged. God is Spirit. He's omnipresent and what He promised in His words in Mathew 6:3-4
But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.
Hey! Guess what? That verse was what set me free because I started focusing on the wrong thing. Don't be so caught up with doing things to please others. People will indeed observe us whether we like it or not but as long as you stay true to your convictions and the reason why you're doing something with the right mindset then thats all that matters in the end. On that note I'm waiting expectantly for my reward whether in this life or in the next.
Until next time.
