At the moment the whole world is experiencing a pandemic. Borders are closed, citizens are advised to stay at home and you can only leave your house unless it is absolutely necessary in order to reduce the spread of the virus. But prior to these things appeared to be normal. The operations of our daily lives seem to flow so easily apart from the short mishaps when we get stuck in traffic or the bus or train didn’t show up on time.
Now, we are forced to rethink how we react to the unexpected, we have to think outside the box and having to change how we do things which leads me to this topic: the easy option.
Don’t we just love ‘em? Eezy peezy, like lemon squeezy.
Sometimes when our backs are against the wall it is so easy to give in. But we have to remember that the easy option is never the best option.
The easy option can be the one that brings the most pleasure, the most return on investment in less time, that man or woman who looks so perfect from their appearance or can even present itself as choosing to hold on to that bad feeling instead of looking at the situation and finding ways to learn from it.
You’re human. I’m human. We’re all human and we’ve all become accustomed to wanting things done microwaved. At least those who have access to one or know there’s one available. So going forward it is better to think about what it is you want, what do you want your life to look like, and what it is you want to achieve.
The best way is the difficult one.
The best way is the longest wait.
The best way only a few will reap the benefits.
until next time.
